Well we made it, Five months and counting! We are grateful for every day and celebrate the time we spend together. Big G brought up balloons and a cake for Teagan and we had all of our PCMC friends in our room to sing and eat cake! He smiled so big the whole time and everyone was so happy to see him doing so good. Church was good as usually, especially the musical number. Teagan is doing well on the floor, basically we are just waiting on the antibiotics to do their job and clear up the staff infection. He still gets CPT (his beatings) and some suctioning, but mostly he can clear himself now. They are weaning him off of his narcotics and he is tolerating that so far. So I am getting use to his new meds. The big thing is he is still eating NJ and that means continuous feeds 24/7, due to him not passing his swallow study. I asked if we could have another study before we leave, and although they don't feel he will pass again, they say we can try. This is our prayer that he can get back to bottles and he can't try unless he passes this test so please pray that he can pass his up coming swallow study so we can go home NG and try bottles.
PS. I'm just throwing this out to my blogger family I want to do a tree for the Festival of Trees this year and have mentioned it to my RS pres. and friend Pam, but I was just wondering if anyone else had ideas or could help. I want it to be Incredibles (Disney) so keep your eyes open for cute stuff. Thanks for your help!

Happy to help with $$ but as for ideas I am a dolt. One of my mission companions lost a son two years ago and he had had extensive care at primary children's. She and her family did a wonderful tree in his honor. If you would like to talk to her I am sure she could give you some tips. Let me know. Also, he looks super terrific!!!

Happy 5 months Birthday! That is a major accomplishement, but then again with him being so incredible you wouldn't expect anything but!
Those pictures of him are adorable and I can't wait until he is back home enjoying his own surroundings.
I do pray the he will show them all up and the next swallow test is sucessful.

Well Big G may have bought the balloons but I helped her pick them out! My fav is the Elmo balloon haha! Sorry that the Teag is off center on the balloon I was trying to hurry and do it! All of the pics are adorable of him!
