Tubes Today, Gone Tomorrow!

This is yesterday before surgery with his NJ tube and NG tube. This morning my Mom helped him touch his face to feel his BARE cheeks, no more tubes!
P.S. I am very proud of our invention, Aunt Kimmy thought it would be fun to make a heart out of T's tape and with some modification I came up with this. The Me Fix tape is great because it breaths, the Tagaderm tore T's cheeks to pieces, and the heart shape works great because the point keeps it close to the nose with no room for fingers and the heart gets bigger with the cheek! I know I'm a genius, I really should paten the idea, but whats the use of not sharing with all of you other heart moms!

I'm so glad surgery went well. Has he stopped throwing up now? I bet he's glad to get those tubes off his face, out of his nose and irritating him in ways I can't even imagine.

He looked SO good today! I am so glad that the surgery went well and especially that he was extubated so soon after surgery. You'll have to show me how you made the cute little heart for his cheek. I think that Elaina could definately benefit from something like that! I'm also glad that you were able to go to Christian's life celebration. I thought about you all morning and even though I was unable to be there in person, my heart was with them today. Here's to hoping that Teagan has a great night and an even better tomorrow!!!
Love you guys!!!
Hollie (and Elaina!)

Wow, I hadn't checked on your blog in a couple of days and look what you have been through!! So glad to hear the surgery went well. You will have to keep all of us heart moms posted on how you like the g-tube. Did they do the Nessan too? Good luck and we will keep praying for Teagan.

Hi so glad you are home. Gabby and I are back (in the mansion on the hill, I like that) for a few days. Just to cold in wyoming to stay there. While we were hoping to see you we are both very glad you are home.Sounds like all is going well. We put Teagan on the prayer list at our church when we got home so now he has even more prayers going up for him. Toni
