We are on the FLOOR!

Teagan has made a 180 turn. He decided over night he would like to go to the floor, so he breathed easy, kept his lungs clear and only needs 1/2 liter of o's. We have had a bit of puking today, but I think it is from clearing his own lungs and not knowing what to do with the spit. He had a test for acid reflux yesterday and you will not believe it, he passed. Doesn't make a lot of sense to us, but they say the only reason anything comes up is because of the NJ tube not letting that sphincter close. So we will try a swallow study in a few weeks and if he passes that we can try bottles. It was bitter sweet leaving the PICU today, it was good because it means T is getting stronger, but it was hard to leave that family behind especially our sweet-Hearts Daxton, Elania, Brooklyn, Kairi, ect. and to leave our favorite nurses and docs and NP Kristen. We miss them, but they have left an impact on our hearts forever and hopefully the kids miracles are just around the corner and we will see our loving medical family in a year 1/2 or more! Now we get to be with Megan and Ashlee and Jes and everyone else we hope to see again up here on the floor. We are also across from Alexander our friend from the Norwood who got his heart and a new friend we have already met Cashe.

YAY!! I am so glad that he is on the floor. There is soooooo much fight left in him and I am glad he decided to prove that. I hope you can start breathing easier too! I can only imagine what a relief it is to you. The prayers don't stop here. We will keep on pleading on his behalf.

I am so glad to hear that Teags is on the floor, now. I was so worried after the last couple posts. I am sure Ashley would send her love too, but she is at girls camp this week. Stay strong. Lindsay
