Post OP. Check-Up

Today was Teagan's Cardio check-up. We left here at 6:15, that means my mom slept over (did I say sleep, I ment was up all night) and had Teags all ready for me to go this morning. We got there at 7 started his feed and then had some breakfast. His appt. was at 8:30, so we went up to the third floor at 8 to visit friends and give Teags his shot and meds, after I gave him his shot I tripped over his feeding tube and pulled it right out, so despite all the other stress I had to replace his tube. Needless to say We barely made it to x ray on time and I gave him his meds late, but it all got done after all my sweat and tears. They said he looks "really good". He weighs 10lbs. 9oz., and 23 1/2ins long. Bonnie said whatever we were doing was working and to keep it up. Oh, and he got his heart t-shirt. They lowered his lasix, and everything else stayed the same. They want to see him in a month for a echo, blood work, and a check -up for his next surgery, the Glenn. So we will hope that things will keep going good so that we don't have to go back till then, except for tom. we have a GI appt. Aunt Kimmy came in town to see Teags, and Coy sent the cutest hats from Disneyland for the boys, Cars for Mase, and Dash for Teags. How thoughtful of a 17 year old boy to think of his 2nd cousins on his school trip to Disneyland. Not much else to say, Thanks for the support, keep up the prayers we need them.

Glad to hear he is doing well. I am sure he will continue to do so. You guys are so inspiring! I get overwhelmed with my job as a mom and often take it for granted. You remind me of how it should be. Thanks!!

Oh, I am so glad that everything went well with Teagan's follow-up appointment.
I hope things are getting more normal at home. It does take some time to get used to it all, but before you know it. . .it becomes second nature.
Keeping your little family in my thoughts and prayers.
