Slow and Steady Wins the Race.

Not a lot happening here in the PICU. Teagan just can't decide how much oxygen he wants. He also needs to learn to breath a little slower. He is on High flow oxygen today and they say you can not go to the floor on that, but we don't mind, like I said before, we are on Teagan Time and he can take as long as he needs. I think the monitors are going to drive Grandma Dee nuts, she is so worried about her little guy. He is back to his birth weight today 9lbs. 4oz. Got another new IV today, went from his hand down to his foot. His bandages came off, so his scars are exposed. The other heart moms come by and they say his zipper (scar) looks great, compared to their kiddos.

Glad to hear is is doing ok. He is such a cute little guy. It was fun to see Mason sing to him. I am so happy that they let the siblings into the PICU.

Keep being patient. He's doing great.

I have a gift for Teagan from the Walker's at my house for you. Stop by if you have a minute and I'll get it to you (I never know when you guys are home otherwise I'd bring it to you).

We're so happy for the progress that Teagan has made in his recovery. We continue to keep him in our thoughts and prayers as the days pass. Please let us know if you need anything!

Hugs,
Mike & Family

He looked sooo good yesterday!
He'll figure out the oxygen thing, I am sure of it. He is just a boy and wants to be near his cute little girlfriend. :) I have to come up Wed for a clinic visit, if you want any treats or cheese fries or- anything, let me know, I'll get right on it!
Much love

So I was reading the Book of Mormon the other day and came across this passage of scripture that brought your family to mind. It's in Alma 58 verses 10-11. It says;

10) Therefore we did pour out our souls in prayer to God, that he would strengthen us and deliver us...
11)Yea, and it came to pass that the Lord our God did visit us with assurances that he would deliver us; yea, insomuch that he did speak peace to our souls, and did grant unto us great faith, and did cause us that we should hope for our deliverance in him.
