Our little angel friend Isaac Brimley lost his fight with HLHS last night. We met his family while we were here for our Norwood. His family has fought hard to get their little guy home and now he has gone home just not the home they were hoping for. Thank you Brimley's for sharing your light with us.
Teagan's lungs continue to have crap in them. They are struggling to keep them clear. They say it will just take time and time we have as long as Teagan needs we will wait patiently. It's all up to him, it makes me teary eyed to say that but it is. We will keep fighting as long as he has fight in him and the Lord will allow. We will wait for his lungs to clear and then try spon. trials and then if he does well with those he will get the breathing tube out. So until then we wait. We did go to church today and it was wonderful as usually. Mason is up here and he loves his little brother, he told my Mom "it hurts me to see him like that." May we all find comfort and peace this sabbath day!

That's sad to hear about Isaac but helps me remember and count my blessings so much more!! Teegan has a lot of fight left in him. We'll keep praying and thinking of you and your family. Good luck!!

How sad to hear about Isaac. We met them while we were there too. They used to 'beat' Gracie up and she actually got to the point where I think she enjoyed the movement.....just any movement since she laid there like a pancake for so long. She came out of it and so will Teagan!! Keep the faith. I feel for you guys, hang in there.
I just read up about sweet Angel Isaac...what an amazing family.
Sounds like Teagan is taking things at his own pace. He'll let you know when it's time. Owen wasn't exubated until day 5 after the Glenn. I was bummed because it was supposed to be the "easy one".
He used to love to get "beat" to get the gunk out. It's the suction part of getting it out that he HATED. Even to this day I can beat his back and he is SUCH a happy guy!
Hang in there, he'll be back home before you know it!!
