No more O's

Teagan is doing well we are just trying to get him on full feeds. He has been wrenching and dry heaving and I'm not sure what is worse, but we have backed off on his feeds and are feeding him continuously. Dr. Rollins says that is how he has wanted his feed all along, for at least a month. The wrenching and even all of his reflux meds he should not need or do in a few weeks. He got off his oxygen today and is still stating in the high 80's. We should be able to go home this weekend! My R.S. made me the cutest book and I could not believe how sweet it is and how many lives Teagan has touched. They made me some extra note cards and I have been having our nurses and family leave messages and I invite anyone else too. If you leave a comment, let me know you want me to put it in his book and I will transfer it. We want him to read it when he is 15 and being naughty, so he will see how hard we have had to work to have him here and how many people love him. Thanks for your help! Remember if you choose anonymous then anyone can comment.

I'm so glad that Teagen might be able to come home. I feel bad he's still wretching. I hope he gets feeling better soon. He has been through so much it just amazes me how he still keeps on fighting, such a strong spirit! Hope you and your family are doing well.

Lots of love and prayers sent your way.!

He's doing so great (minus the dry heaving). How nice that he's off oxygen and doing it all on his own. What a relief.

Brytt,
It's true that little Teagan has touched many people. Reading his blog is a constant reminder of how blessed we all are and how important it is to know that everything is in Heavenly Father's Hands. We always have a prayer in our HEARTS for you.

Hi Brytten, this is Amber. I just wanted to let you know I'm leaving on a river rafting trip with my family this weekend. I'm not sure if you still need someone to take care of Teagen at nights anymore? If you wouldn't mind just leaving a message on my cell and letting me know. Or you can just email me at takingflightnow23@hotmail.com. That way I can look for another job. Thanks so much! I hope everything is going good for Teagen:)

great to hear from you... i'm so happy your boy is doing well post-op; that's always such a stressful time, and if he's anything like asher, almost anything can (and does) happen. i'll be thinking and praying for you and teagan. and i'll had your blog to asher's so others can follow and pray, too.

it looks like asher's a little further along the HLHS path than teagan, so feel free to ask me anything. and i'll email you privately about the t-cells.

thanks for contacting me. i'll be in touch.
