It was a wonderful first Thanksgiving for Teagan,(better than Mason's first, he got croup)just to have him here and able to leave the house. We stopped by the Pettit's to say hi and then on to Big G's for a delicious feast with family who all got a "shot in the arm for Teagan"! Teagan spent a little time in his high chair but was not very interested in the food, oh well. We had a great time with family and just hanging out. Dad and Mason escaped to go see the movie Bolt and then came back to pick up Mom and T. We had a great day and took some time to count our many blessings: Teagan is here and happy and thriving, he learned to clap on Wednesday, we are staying healthy for the most part, We have wonderful friends and family who help us and pray for us, and a loving Father in Heaven who has our best interests at HEART. On a side note Mason had a funny story. He had a sleep over a G-ma Dee's the other day and the next morning G-ma told Mace that they needed to go get the turkey. Mason let her know that he didn't think it was such a great idea to put a turkey in the car and that it would scare him to take it to Big G's feathers and all. G-ma assured him that the turkey was already dead and everything would be ok! Hope you had a peaceful and Happy Thanksgiving with the ones you love!
Attitude is everything. Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, because life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... it's about learning to dance in the rain.
