Our LUCKY Day!

Last Year:

This Year:

So I know I am really behind on posting, everyone has gone home now and we can return to normalcy. Today is a very special day, one year ago today Teagan was having his Norwood. We celebrated St. Patty's Day in the waiting room praying everything was going well in the O.R. We feel very LUCKY to celebrate this year at home loving on our little leprechaun. We also made some really great friends that day. Thatcher was in the other O.R. with Dr. Hawkins, so Bonnie was delivering updates to both of us. Tami came over to me and gave me a hug and introduced herself as a fellow heart mom. While waiting she got us all hooked up with IHH. When we went back to the PICU to finally see Teagan, Thatcher was his roommate. We became great friends and the Nielsen's came to Teagan's party last week and Tami made the boys these darling shirts that say: "I have the luck of the Irish.... I'm a HEART HERO!" He looks so cute! Mason also loves this day since everyone is in GREEN! Happy St. Patrick's Day, CHEERS to many more!!!

Showing off their chick magnets! Two of the LUCKIEST guys I know!

Although Teagan may be LUCKY, he also has one INCREDIBLE family and a very skilled mommy.

I bet last year sitting in the waiting room, you dreamed of a day like today! I remember it all too clearly. I just prayed that I'd be to bring Owen home.

Thatcher and Teagan look adorable in their St Patty shirts... very cute!!

I have been a little, (ok, a lot) emotional this week thinking about how much our lives were changed a year ago. No one can ever know what we feel and what we have been through. I LOVE you guys, for real...I am so happy to have met you, even through our circumstances, God works in misterious ways! I am so grateful to have you to talk to, and to listen to, for the rest of our lives! Just know that I am always here for you and that this isnt the only anniversary we will be spending together!
Love ya!
Tami

Brytt,
What a year!!! What miracles we have all witnessed. We are so blessed to be where we are today, looking back on the year before. One the day Teagan was having his first surgery, our little Alex was born.
