On Monday I took my boys on a wagon ride. I never knew how much a wagon would mean. I put Mason in the wagon and then we put Teag's car seat in and Made him wireless and placed him in his seat. He started a little fussy so Mason started singing to him ABC's and Rock A By Baby, it was so sweet, he just wanted to calm him down. Then we were off as we went down the hall Mason was pointing things out to him. " Look Teagan that's Spiderman, look Teagan that's Jesus." It was one of the most precious moment of my life. It felt like NORMAL for just a minute. No wires, no monitors, no nurses, no beeps, it was wonderful. I almost went right out the front door. Cherish your time with your kids, be a little kinder to them, be a little more patient with them, Take time to listen, and most of all just take time. Enjoy the small things like a wagon ride on a sunny day!

How nice that you got to be "normal" for just a minute. Your definition of normal will certainly change when you get home. We miss you guys. Sorry I haven't been up to visit again. Whit has been pretty sick with a nasty cold. I'm sure there is gunk on me that I don't want to share with you guys.

Thatcher would not calm down one night and I took him about 10 yards down the hall and he fell asleep! Makes you want to take one home!
It also helps when their siblings are there, dont ya think? It sure helped Thatch.
We are keeping a careful eye on you guys.

i'm so glad you got to do that. that does sound like a moment you'll cherish forever. i hope you get to take your little one home soon. i probably WOULD have walked out the door, had they let me take Grace on a 'wagon ride'! anyway...i hope Teagan starts feeding better and we'll pray that the clot goes away quickly so he can go home with his family!
Brytten, Ryan...you are both so awesome. It's a wonderful thing that you can have a normal moment with Teagan and Mason...we must never take our family time that Heavenly Father gives us for granted...much love and support, Bp.T.
I am just 21 weeks pregnant and my tiny son was just diagnosed with HLHS. We are in shock as we already have two healthy sons, ages 3 and 5 and expected smooth sailing.
