Yes surgery went well, he got out so late and then we went to see him. He was stable not extubated but stable. We were so exhausted that we just wanted to get home and sleep in our own bed. I was zonked! This morning I called and he was extubated, but breathing fast on regular o's. My mom came up to be with him while Ryan and I and Hilary went to Christian's celebration of his life, it was beautiful and I was so touched. Hilary made it so we could be in the bed next to them and I think she is a little too excited to have us back in the PICU. It is nice to be with friends. At the funeral Kristin the NP told me she put T on high flow and he was doing great. It was funny, as more and more PICU staff came in to the funeral I asked who is with my son! We had a laugh. So far it is a good day and I feel blessed to have my baby, even if we are in the PICU.

I am so happy to hear that Teagan's surgery went so well. He looks so wonderful with the feeding tubes gone. What a blessing. I know that he is going to do well.
