We went to Dr. Harris' yesterday for a weight check, he weighed 12 lbs. exactly. Dr. Harris was very pleased and surprised, he said Teag's isn't even eating as much as he should, yet he is still gaining weight. He said this boy is blessed and we agree. He seems to be doing well besides all the puke. So as long as he keeps gaining weight we will be happy. He was also impressed by his head control and balance, he kept saying these kids aren't suppose to do this. On another note we are looking for a nurse or someone that would like to come in three night a week to help with his care, for pay from 12-8am. We are wearing out our help even if they won't admit it, we know because it is hard on me to do two nights and then try to do all the days. He is so sweet, but he just demands so much care. I'm grateful for the opportunity to do it and I would do it all day and night if I had to just to keep him here. Thanks for your help with this and please keep praying for Teagan and the people who take care of him.
Attitude is everything. Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, because life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... it's about learning to dance in the rain.
