Such a Big Boy!

We went to Dr. Harris' yesterday for a weight check, he weighed 12 lbs. exactly. Dr. Harris was very pleased and surprised, he said Teag's isn't even eating as much as he should, yet he is still gaining weight. He said this boy is blessed and we agree. He seems to be doing well besides all the puke. So as long as he keeps gaining weight we will be happy. He was also impressed by his head control and balance, he kept saying these kids aren't suppose to do this.
On another note we are looking for a nurse or someone that would like to come in three night a week to help with his care, for pay from 12-8am. We are wearing out our help even if they won't admit it, we know because it is hard on me to do two nights and then try to do all the days. He is so sweet, but he just demands so much care. I'm grateful for the opportunity to do it and I would do it all day and night if I had to just to keep him here. Thanks for your help with this and please keep praying for Teagan and the people who take care of him.

He is thriving so well. I totally understand the need for a nurse. I wish I could help you out. I'll keep my ears open for anyone looking.

I can't believe his weight gain..that is awesome!! Owen is 4 mo and still hasn't reached the 12lb mark. We're still working on head control too. WAY TO GO TEAGS!!

I feel you about the night help thing. I was blessed with good sleepers and Owen will sleep for 11 hrs straight. I just fill up his feeding bag, strap on an ice pack to keep it cold. I also spread out his meds over the day so I don't have to get up and night and administer meds.

It's not easy and I still feel like a zombie half the time.

My heart goes out to you!!!
